Salsa in a Circle!

Rueda de Casino. A fast-paced, high-energy, visually-amazing style of salsa hailing from Cuba. The word "rueda" means wheel in Spanish. Dancers stand in a circle, and listen for the leader to call out which steps will come next. It is usually not choreographed - instead, made up on the spot. Always different. Always awesome. Rueda-style salsa has become popular all over the world, with multiple teachers and classes right here in Philly (for free rueda and salsa casino classes, check out the Philly-based group, Ahi Na'ma). Watch and be awed at the amount of fun happening in this little dance circle on a little Cuban street!
