Bizzy Gives Back
"I am just trying to operate with positivity and let my feelings flow through the dance."
That's what Brian "Bizzy" Linder, a Philadelphia hip hop choreographer, opened his hip hop workshop with on Sunday, July 27th. A large group of hip hop lovers showed up to show love, learn moves, and dance. The best part? It was a FREE workshop, because Brian is all about "giving back." No matter what happens, he explained, no matter what people throw at you, you have to throw love and positivity back. He talked about chanelling any negativity into dance, and letting it out through movement. Check out Brian in the video below sharing his choreography for the workshop:
After his explanation of what he's all about, Brian began with an intense warm up that tightened core muscles and got us sweating. We began fast-paced, energetic, dynamic choreogaphy, set to a track composed by a producer Brian knows personally.
Despite the fast-pace, Brian was encouraging to everyone who showed up; the girls is the front who had it from step one, those of us in the back who kept up the best we could, and everyone in the middle. No matter what our experience or level was, we all had fun, learned something and sweat our asses off.
